Mike has more than 20 years of leveraged finance experience targeting middle-market and large-cap sectors.  Over his career, he has advised upon, originated and executed more than $4 billion of debt and equity investments, primarily for private equity-backed clients.

Prior to joining Hudson Avenue Partners, Mike worked at Monroe Capital where he led the execution and origination of middle-market debt investments, while also syndicating transactions to bank and non-bank lending partners.  Prior to Monroe Capital, Mike was a founding member of Monroe Credit Advisors where he advised on and placed middle-market debt and equity facilities, ultimately helping to grow the platform to over $1 billion in capital raised.  Mike acquired his direct investing experience from prior roles with Merrill Lynch Capital where he originated, executed and syndicated leveraged finance transactions of up to $750 million for private equity-backed clients.

Mike received his Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from The University of Iowa.
